Our Mission

“What the Church proclaims to the world is the Logos of Hope (cf. 1 Pet 3:15); in order to be able to live fully each moment, men and women need ‘the great hope’ which is ‘the God who possesses a human face and who ‘has loved us to the end’ (Jn 13:1)’.”

— Benedict XVI (Verbum Domini §91)

In their vocation as disciples of Christ, the brothers desire, despite their unworthiness and fragilities, to be authentic men of God, bearing witness by an intense life of prayer, which is a true bridge between Heaven and Earth, and an inexhaustible source of Hope for every person who seeks God.

In their desire to seek Christ, the Light of the world, the brothers devote themselves to the study of the human person and the Sacred Scriptures. This study enables them to preach the Gospel and help men and women discover the profound meaning of their lives so that they might become fully and freely what God contemplated of them when He created them.

In their thirst to love their neighbor as Christ does, the brothers welcome and offer concrete help to all those whom Providence places in their path, especially those who live in material or spiritual poverty and who have lost Hope.

Aware that “a brother united to his brother is like a strong city” (Prov 18), and attentive to the message of the Beloved Disciple that “whoever loves God must also love his brother” (1 Jn 4), the brothers live their friendship with Jesus, the Word of Hope, in a life of fraternal communion together.

Finally, knowing that they are beloved children of the Virgin Mary, the brothers consecrate themselves, by the daily recitation of the Holy Rosary, to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the “Star of Evangelization,” so that she may obtain for them “the audacity of prophets and the evangelical prudence of pastors” (cf. Address of Saint John Paul II, January 28, 1979).
